Ernie Richardson (Ernest Richardson) was born on July 17, 1950 in Greenville, Mississippi. After going to high school at Coleman (Greenville, MS), Richardson attended Jackson State University. Richardson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 1 year career.
