Ernie Price (Ernest Price) was born on September 20, 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas. After going to high school at Miller (Corpus Christi, TX), Price attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Kingsville. Price made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Ernie Price's best year.
