Ernie Park (Ernest C. Park) was born on October 22, 1940 in San Angelo, Texas. After going to high school at Wylie (Abilene, TX), Park attended McMurry University. Park made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Ernie Park's best year.
