Ernie Oravetz (Ernest Eugene Oravetz) was born on January 24, 1932 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1955 for the Washington Senators. In 1955, his rookie year, he hit .270 with 0 home runs and 25 RBI. Oravetz played for the Washington Senators for his entire 2 year career.
