Ernie Mccann (Ernest Harmer McCann) was born on August 5, 1902 in , PA. After going to high school at Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA), Mccann attended Pennsylvania State University. Mccann made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Hartford Blues. He played for the Hartford Blues for his entire 1 year career.
