Ernie Ladd

Ernie Ladd (Ernest Ladd) was born on November 28, 1938 in Rayvill, Louisiana. After going to high school at Wallace (Orange, TX), Ladd attended Grambling State University. Ladd made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Oilers over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1968 was Ernie Ladd's best year.
