Ernie Caddel

Ernie Caddel (Ernest Wiley Caddel, Jr.) was born on March 12, 1911 in Granite, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Corcoran (CA), Caddel attended Stanford University. Caddel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Detroit Lions and Portsmouth Spartans over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1935 was Ernie Caddel's best year, as he ran in 6 TDs.
