Ernie Burch

Ernie Burch (Ernest A. Burch) was born on September 9, 1856 in DeKalb County, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on August 15, 1884 for the Cleveland Spiders. In 1886, his rookie year, he hit .261 with 2 home runs and 72 RBI. Burch played for the Cleveland Spiders and Brooklyn Trolley Dodgers over the course of his 3 year career.
