Ernie Blandin (Ernest C. Blandin) was born on June 21, 1919 in Augusta, Kansas. After going to high school at Leon (KS), Blandin attended Tulane University. Blandin made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Cleveland Browns. He played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 4 year AAFC career.Blandin also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts the entire time.

Most people believe that 1950 was Ernie Blandin's best year.
