Ernie Johnson (Ernest Rudolph Johnson) was born on April 29, 1888 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on August 5, 1912 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1915, his rookie year, he hit .240 with 7 home runs and 67 RBI.
