Born on October 30, 1968 in Renton, Washington, Erik Plantenberg (Erik John Plantenberg) played for the Seattle Mariners and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career. Plantenberg broke into the bigs on July 31, 1993 with the Seattle Mariners.
