Born on March 5, 1979 in Navan, Ontario (Canada), Erik Bedard (Erik Joseph Bedard) played for the Baltimore Orioles for his entire 4 year career. Bedard broke into the bigs on April 17, 2002 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 4.59 ERA in 137.1 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Erik Bedard's best season was 2006, when he posted a 3.76 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 171 batters.
