Eric Torkelson (Eric Grove Torkelson) was born on March 3, 1952 in Troy, New York. After going to high school at Burnt Hills (NY), Torkelson attended the University of Connecticut. Torkelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Eric Torkelson's best year.
