Eric Swann (Eric Jerrod Swann) was born on August 16, 1970 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. After going to high school at Western Harnett (Lillington, NC), Swann attended Wake Technical Community College. Swann made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Phoenix Cardinals. He played for the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Cardinals and Carolina Panthers over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1995 was Eric Swann's best year, as he recorded 8.5 sacks.
