Eric Smedley (Eric Alan Smedley) was born on July 23, 1973 in Charleston, West Virginia. After going to high school at Capital (Chesterton, WV), Smedley attended Indiana University. Smedley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1998 was Eric Smedley's best year.
