Born on May 19, 1956 in Riverside, California, Eric Show (Eric Vaughn Show) played for the San Diego Padres and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 11 year career. Show broke into the bigs on September 2, 1981 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 2.64 ERA in 150 innings pitched in 1982, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Eric Show's best season was 1988, when he posted a 3.26 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 144 batters.
