Eric Munson (Eric Walter Munson) was born on October 3, 1977 in San Diego, California. He made his Major League debut on July 18, 2000 for the Detroit Tigers. In 2003, his rookie year, he hit .240 with 18 home runs and 50 RBI. Munson played for the Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Houston Astros over the course of his 7 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Eric Munson's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2004, when he slugged 19 home runs. However, others believe that it was 2003, when he slugged 18 home runs and knocked in 50 runs.
