Eric Laakso (Eric Henry Laakso) was born on November 29, 1956 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Killingly (Danielson, CT), Laakso attended Tulane University. Laakso made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 7 year career.
