Born on April 10, 1964 in Oxnard, California, Eric King (Eric Steven King) played for the Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career. King broke into the bigs on May 15, 1986 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 3.51 ERA in 138.1 innings pitched in 1986, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Eric King's best season was 1990, when he posted a 3.28 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 70 batters.
