Eric Karros (Eric Peter Karros) was born on November 4, 1967 in Hackensack, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1991 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1992, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 20 home runs and 88 RBI. Karros played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 14 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Eric Karros's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1999, when he slugged 34 home runs, hit for a .304 average and knocked in 112 runs. However, others believe that it was 1997, when he slugged 31 home runs and knocked in 104 runs.
