Eric Jonassen (Eric Gustav Jonassen) was born on August 16, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD), Jonassen attended Bloomsburg University and Pennsylvania State University. Jonassen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 2 year career.
