Born on April 27, 1966 in Gary, Indiana, Eric Hillman (John Eric Hillman) played for the New York Mets for his entire 3 year career. Hillman broke into the bigs on May 18, 1992 with the New York Mets, and put up a 5.33 ERA in 52.1 innings pitched in 1992, his rookie year.
