Born on September 25, 1963 in Crowley, Louisiana, Eric Hetzel (Eric Paul Hetzel) played for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 2 year career. Hetzel broke into the bigs on July 1, 1989 with the Boston Red Sox, and put up a 6.26 ERA in 50.1 innings pitched in 1989, his rookie year.
