Eric Cunningham (Eric Alan Cunningham) was born on March 16, 1957 in Akron, Ohio. After going to high school at South (Akron, OH), Cunningham attended Pennsylvania State University. Cunningham made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 2 year career.
