In what seems like a brilliant job by Fox, Byrnes will be helping to broadcast the All-Star game in San Francisco, kayaking in McCovey Cove….with his dog: > > Not to be outdone, Fox will have the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Eric Byrnes in a kayak along with his pet bulldog Bruin during coverage of the All-Star game the next night.

Gotta love it. Byrnesy is definitely setting himself up for life after the game. He’s appeared on Fox’s Playoff Coverage last year and now hits up the All-Star game. On top this, he has his own local tv show in AZ called “The Eric Byrnes Show.” EB we love ya. Keep up the craziness.

This kayak reporting didn't work for Kenny Mayne last night...maybe it will work better for Eric Byrnes on of my favorite characters in baseball today. He will be broadcasting for a lot of years to come.

Would be funny to see him begin to sink, and a rescue operation being launched. That would be much ore entertaining than the game itself.
