Born on October 27, 1963 in Modesto, California, Eric Bell (Eric Alvin Bell) played for the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians and Houston Astros over the course of his 6 year career. Bell broke into the bigs on September 24, 1985 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 5.45 ERA in 165 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Eric Bell's best season was 1987, when he won 10 games and struck out 111 batters.
