Erick Almonte (Erick R. Almonte) was born on February 1, 1978 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on September 4, 2001 for the New York Yankees. Almonte played for the New York Yankees for his entire 2 year career.
