Born on July 15, 1947 in Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur (Mexico), Enrique Romo (Enrique (Navarro) Romo) played for the Seattle Mariners and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 6 year career. Romo broke into the bigs on April 7, 1977 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 2.83 ERA in 114.1 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Enrique Romo's best season was 1977, when he posted a 2.83 ERA, notched 16 saves and struck out 105 batters.
