Emmett Kriel (Emmett Karl Kriel) was born on May 12, 1916 in Coupland, Texas. After going to high school at Taylor (TX), Kriel attended Baylor University. Kriel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
