Emery Moorehead (Emery Matthew Moorehead) was born on March 22, 1954 in Evanston, Illinois. After going to high school at Evanston (IL), Moorehead attended the University of Colorado. Moorehead made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the New York Giants. He played for the Chicago Bears, New York Giants and Denver Broncos over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Emery Moorehead's best year, as he hauled in 42 receptions and had 597 receiving yards.
