Elvin Hutchison (Elvin Clarence Hutchison) was born on October 14, 1912 in Guthrie Center, Iowa. After going to high school at Red Oak (IA), Hutchison attended Whittier College. Hutchison made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
