Elvin Bethea

Elvin Bethea (Elvin Lamont Bethea) was born on March 1, 1946 in Trenton, New Jersey. After going to high school at Central (Trenton, NJ), Bethea attended North Carolina A&T State University. Bethea made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Houston Oilers. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time. Bethea also played in the NFL for 14 years, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1974 was Elvin Bethea's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
