Elton Veals (Elton Alvin Veals) was born on March 26, 1961 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After going to high school at Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA), Veals attended Merritt College and Tulane University. Veals made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 10 year career.
