Elois Grooms (Elois Grooms) was born on May 20, 1953 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. After going to high school at Tompkinsville (KY), Grooms attended Tennessee Institute of Technology. Grooms made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1982 was Elois Grooms's best year.
