Elmo Plaskett (Elmo Alexander Plaskett) was born on June 27, 1938 in Frederiksted, Virgin Islands. He made his Major League debut on September 8, 1962 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Plaskett played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career.
