Elmer Sleight (Elmer Noble Sleight) was born on July 8, 1907 in Morris, Illinois. After going to high school at Morris (IL), Sleight attended Purdue University. Sleight made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
