Born on September 4, 1869 in Hamilton, Ohio, Elmer Horton (Elmer Edward Horton) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Bridegrooms over the course of his 2 year career. Horton broke into the bigs on September 24, 1896 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
