Elliott Bigelow (Elliott Allardice Bigelow) was born on October 13, 1897 in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1929 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1929, his rookie year, he hit .284 with 1 home run and 26 RBI. Bigelow played for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 1 year career.
