Elliot Risley (Elliot Clarence Risley) was born on January 24, 1896 in Compton, Illinois. After going to high school at East (Aurora, IL), Risley attended Indiana University. Risley made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Hammond Pros. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Hammond Pros the entire time. Risley also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Hammond Pros the entire time.
