Ellie Rodriguez (Eliseo (Delgado) Rodriguez) was born on May 24, 1946 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on May 26, 1968 for the New York Yankees. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .236 with 2 home runs and 20 RBI. Rodriguez played for the New York Yankees, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, California Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 9 year career.
