Elijah Nevett (Elijah Nevett) was born on April 28, 1944 in Bessemer, Alabama. After going to high school at Brighton (AL), Nevett attended Clark Atlanta University. Nevett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1969 was Elijah Nevett's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
