Born on November 3, 1917 in Lorain, Ohio, Eli Hodkey (Aloysius Joseph Hodkey) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 1 year career. Hodkey broke into the bigs on September 12, 1946 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
