Elgie Tobin (Elgin W. Tobin) in , PA. After going to high school at California (Coal Center, PA), Tobin attended Pennsylvania State University and West Virginia University. Tobin made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Akron Pros. He played for the Akron Pros for his entire 2 year career.
