EleVen: Venus Enters the Fashion Market

Following up on the success of the Starbury, Steve & Barry's released a new basketball shoe for Big Ben Wallace, also selling for a mere $14.98.  The wildy successful Starbury has propelled Steve & Barry's expansion from 120 stores before the release of the shoe to 270 by the end of this year.

The bigger news coming out of the retailer, however, is the release this week of a new clothing and sneaker line under the EleVen brand.  This line will be marketed by Wimbledon champion Venus William, with nothing costing more than $20, and should prove to be as successful as the Starbury.  It certainly has a more accomplished and engaging spokesperson.
