Elbie Schultz (Eberle H. Schultz) was born on December 23, 1917 in Eugene, Oregon. After going to high school at Oregon City (OR), Schultz attended Oregon State University. Schultz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Rams, Philadelphia/Pittsburgh, Philadelphia Eagles and chicago/pittsburgh over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1946 was Elbie Schultz's best year.
