Elbert Kimbrough

Elbert Kimbrough (Elbert Leon Kimbrough) was born on March 24, 1938 in Galesburg, Illinois. After going to high school at Galesburg (IL), Kimbrough attended Northwestern University. Kimbrough made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1966 was Elbert Kimbrough's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
