Eddie Miller (Edward Robert Miller) was born on November 26, 1916 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 9, 1936 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1939, his rookie year, he hit .267 with 4 home runs and 31 RBI. Miller played for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Braves, Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that Eddie Miller's best season was 1947, when he slugged 19 home runs and knocked in 87 runs.
