Ed Taylor (Edward James Taylor) was born on November 17, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1926 for the Boston Braves. In 1926, his rookie year, he hit .268 with 0 home runs and 33 RBI. Taylor played for the Boston Braves for his entire 1 year career.
