Eddie Vargas (Hediberto (Rodriguez) Vargas) was born on February 23, 1959 in Guanica, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 8, 1982 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Vargas played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career.
