Eddie Usher (Edward Thomas Usher) was born on June 19, 1898 in Toledo, Ohio. After going to high school at V.W. Scott (Toledo, OH), Usher attended the University of Michigan. Usher made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Buffalo All-Americans. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Buffalo All-Americans the entire time. Usher also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Kansas City Blues and Rock Island Independents over the course of his 2 year NFL career.
